Hrm, my first blog. I don't think I've ever posted a blog entry on any other site that was worth reading. I know this because of how little effort I put into those. Useless facts and funny pictures, thats about it. I guess I'll start off with where I am in my life right now.
I'm 18, and I recently got promoted to a full-time assistant at the NE Calgary Costco #543, from a limited part-time position. I have been working at Costco for close to 8 months now. I drive a 93' Chrysler Dynasty LE that my Grandpa gave to me about 3 years ago. I've driven the heck out of that thing, (that thing, goes by the name of KIRBY), and she's almost at 200,000 km's. I think I've doubled the amount of kilometers she had when I got her. Luckily, the search for a new car has finally started, now that I am financially prepared, and have the insurance of a full-time job. In September (07'), I am starting my first year of post secondary. I will be taking General Arts & Science at Mount Royal college. I haven't made any long term decisions yet, but this course will get my well on my way without having to make any choices about what my Bachelor, or anything else, will be.
So, that about sums up what I've got going for me right now. Nothing too exciting, but I sort of like it that way. Perhaps, this summer may have something in store for me. I think its my turn to have some fun, and experience all those things that people talk about when they are 60 years old. I'm still fishing my ass off this summer, though.
Lately, I have been listening to the new Rush album, "Snakes and Arrows". It is EXCELLENT. I love bands like Rush who can still perform and record at the same level they did 25 years ago. This album doesn't take over the spot held by "2112", my absolute favorite, and clearly Rush's greatest album. Rush is simply amazing. And Canadian. If you don't like them, well, I'm sorry. I get to go see them, and you don't!
This entry is already drying up. I'm done for tonight.
